In this moment, when travel is impossible and social distance is expected, it can be hard to feel close to each other. But even as the virus rages there is still one thing that connects all of us– we all live on the same earth and can enjoy its natural splendor. From the tiny vibrant flowers to tall verdant forest trees, Earth’s flora and fauna are a key part of this splendor. 

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began  people have been turning to gardening as a way to sustain themselves, both physically and mentally. We wanted to examine what that looked like in different places across the globe, so we spoke to women from three different continents, to see how they are tending their gardens and connecting with nature in this uncertain time.
